EP220-28-370 PoE Switch support Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS). The ring protection link (RPL) in the ring would ensures all switches stay connected and minimize the disruption to service; loop avoidance is assured as RPL blocks the traffic when not in used. Streaming and data transfer adopt the topological characteristics of the ring network. In the event of a network failure, ERPS quickly enables the backup link to be quickly recovered. EP220-28-370 PoE Switch enable devices to be powered through Ethernet cables, reducing cable clutter, installation time and costs, and it features surge protection from voltage spikes.

EP220-28-370 Supports IEEE802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE+) and Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) PoE power output up to 30W/port, power budget up to 370W.
The EP220 series supports PoE power budget control, PoE function enable/disable, PoE power feeding priority, PoE power limitation, PoE schedule and PoE Auto check.
Surge Protection gives additional layer to protect your equipment
The extra 6KV surge protection features limit the voltage supplied to an electric device by either blocking or by shorting to ground.
The EP/ES220 series uses advanced surge protection technique that supports 6 KV surge protection effectively.
Extendable Solution and Flexible manageability
Either four or two built-in mini-GBIC slots in the EP/ES220 series have supported 1000Base-SX/LX SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) fiber-optic modules. An administrator can flexibly choose a suitable SFP transceiver according to the transmission distance required.
